DESCRIPTION:*** NOTICE: EARLY START *** 9:30 AM PST show\, 10 AM go *** \n(Trail is a few miles inside Arizona\, but is on PST.) \n50 orbits completed around the sun…what to do?  It’s been a while since we’ve been out to Arizona Hot Spring\, so how about a hike down to the river and the spring? \nSince the destination is known\, the hare will accompany the pack both ways.  Beer coolers will be open at the beginning so you can grab a few roadies for trail.  I’m not hauling coolers both ways on a 3-mile trail\, and I don’t have a boat with which to pre-position them\, so you get to haul in whatever you want to drink (and you get to haul out the empties…hashers\, not trashers). \nI will also have a handle-sized flask of something…the giant flask that Hasher Tabitha bought me a decade ago returns!  If you have something boozy you’d like to share\, bring it! \nThe early start is so that we can hike to the spring\, spend an hour or two there\, and climb back out before the sun sets.  Safety Third! \nBring $5 hash cash\, virgins\, visitors\, whatever you’d wear in a hot spring\, towel\, extra booze to share with the pack\, and a thirst for the golden nectar.  Start is about 4 miles on the other side of the state line\, a left turn off of southbound 93.  There are no entry fees where we’re going\, but the distance might justify carpooling for some of you.

DESCRIPTION:Prep your bikes…and your livers.  This year\, the Tour de Franzia is moving to Sunset Park!  Bring your bike and your wine (at least enough for four 6-oz. pours) to the southwest corner of Sunset Park.  We’ll do as many heats of 3-4 bashers as needed…and if anyone’s up for it\, maybe a final round.  Is this a r*cist event?  Perhaps\, but so’s the beer mile. 🙂 \nOn-after TBD. \nIf you’ve not done one before\, it’s kinda like a beer mile\, but with wine instead of beer…and more potential for half-minds to get f*cked up\, because of bikes.  You’ll bring your bike and a bottle of your choice (or a box…we’re not judgy\, and this is the Tour de Franzia).  Pour the wine into four cups.  When the starting device sounds\, chug a cup of wine and do one lap around the marked course…no shortcutting!  When you return\, chug the next cup and do another lap.  Repeat until you’ve had all four cups and done four laps.  If you puke\, you get to do a penalty cup and extra lap.
