A short(?) night trail will be laid at the end of the meeting. If you have any thoughts or agenda items that you want to make sure we cover\, feel free to message me before Saturday. \nThis will be a 3PM show\, 3:15PM start. If you’re attending the meeting\, please try to arrive on time so your arrival doesn’t interrupt everyone. A standard week’s worth of hash beer will be available to split between the meeting and the trail\, but you’re encouraged to BYOB\, to ensure we have enough for everyone to have their say without anyone committing the sin of dry lips. DESCRIPTION:Trail #1454 – Party On Prick SPECIAL CAMPING TRAIL!! \nFirst of all\, thanks to Tunnel for scouring my FB page for the stupidest photo possible. Nice work! I won’t go into what almost happened later that day… \nSo here’s the Deets: \nShow at the Desert Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center at Noon\, Go at 12:30. The road from here is dirt\, has some washboard\, and requires ground clearance but not 4×4. What does that mean? Trucks are best\, SUVs will do fine also. Crossovers could do it but it’s going to be very slow going. You will assemble here\, consolidate vehicles\, and leave your passenger cars here overnight (I asked\, it’s okay). You can also make arrangements with truck/SUV owners ahead of time and carpool from Vegas. We’ll sort it out as it gets closer. Not to make a big deal out of it or make it sound scary but make sure your spare tire is aired up and that you have the appropriate tools for a tire change. \nThe drive from here took me 54 mins but I aired down my tires and hauled ass. I’m guessing it will take you closer to 90 mins. No worries\, enjoy the scenery\, beerdrate\, and bask in not being at work. I may even put together a nice little offroad playlist for you which you can copy from me on spotify…stay tuned…literally! \nSo you’ll hopefully arrive at camp around 2:00. Lunch is on you. You’ll have a few hours to set up your crap and further beerdrate. Box will open at 4:30 and the pack will go at 5:00. You’ll get to enjoy the shiggy at about 6\,000 feet. Don’t worry about it\, it’s not a race\, remember? Short Bus and I aren’t looking to kill you\, the trail won’t be tooooo brutal. \nIt will be a true A to B trail and I’ve got to schlepp your shit up to circle so pack your B bags light! \nOrange food etc will be provided at circle and when we return to camp Short Bus and I will provide burgers and dogs. Let me know if you need a hippie alternative. Only burgers and dogs? Yep\, that’s where you come in\, it’s a Pot Luck. Easy stoners\, that means everyone brings something to share. As it gets closer peeps can post what they’re bringing so we don’t have 15 bags of chips and no brownies! \nAfter dinner it’s up until dawn or 9pm\, that’s up to you! I guess it really depends on the quantity of beer at hand. Circle and trail beer will be provided but all other alcohol is on you. So…bring some more beer! \nThe following morning Short Bus and I will provide some sort of simple grain/high gluten/high carb breakfast option. From there if anyone wants to organize a pickup hangover trail that’s cool or we can just sit around and drink fuzzy navels. Whateve! After that we will head back to the visitors center.
